London to Brighton, British Heart Foundation - Sunday 18th June 2006
27,000 riders - 58 long hard miles and only 1 ditchling beacon, the famous London to Brighton raises almost £3m each year for the British Heart foundation. The KANA Team and I were out in full force for the day with an early 8am start, completing the ride in just over 4 hours 30 mins. Not bad for our first attempt (and just four days after I was back from Honeymoon) . We raised almost £1,000 for the BHF and the Macmillan Nurses.

 

 

London Bridges, The Stroke Association - Sunday 14th May 2006
Fourteen bridges, 32 miles and one big challenge! The Thames Bridges cycle ride raises money for the Stroke Association. 2,400 cyclists took to the street along with the KANA Team and I. We completed the course in under 3 hours. We raised over £600 for the Stroke Association.

Make-A-Wish come true - Sunday 11th September 2005
Make-A-Wish Foundation UK aims to grant the wishes of children aged 3 to 18, living with life-threatening illnesses. A wish granted is true magic for the child and provides happy memories for the family when, perhaps, time finally runs out. We raised over £2,500 to help make kids dreams come true!
