We met by accident, Graham was bored (and getting fatter) so started going to the gym and in particular started attending spin classes. Polly was also a participant in the class building up to take over teaching at the gym. With Graham having a healthy set of hormones, he eyed the women up. There was one butt that caught his eye as she always had to have "her" bike in the front row (teacher's pet).
With thanks to Nigel, who emailed Polly after Graham spotted her pimping herself out in a local newsletter for personal training sessions.
Polly replied to Nigel suggesting that we all meet up after a spin class for a drink even after claiming that she had no idea who Graham was!! After careful planning by Nigel and Graham, Nigel was suddenly unable to meet at the arranged time. It was left for Graham to take Polly out for dinner in April 2006!
After becoming friends, Graham eventually plucked up the courage to ask Polly out in October 2006. She begrudgingly said yes and that we should keep it quiet to see how it worked out. Well it didn't work out after three weeks :-(
Graham was determined to win Polly over and kept the friendship up as did Polly. In February 2007, it was round two of testing the water again. The water went cold six weeks later. Harumff....
Polly clearly couldn't keep away and started poking Graham on Facebook - rekindling the friendship as we hadn't been in contact for three months. Naturally Graham poked her back :-) and we began being friends again. Near the end of 2007, we were spending a day or two a week with each other and more over the holiday break. Polly's friend Nina then sat her down and told her to get a grip and go get him.
In January 2008, Graham went to San Diago with work for two weeks and Polly went to sunny Wiltshire for a course. Graham was finding it difficult to get rid of Polly the night before he went as he had to pack (naturally Polly was already packed for her trip).
Many thousands of emails were exchanged over many thousands of miles during the two weeks, Graham changed his return flight, to be home two days earlier than planned and Polly was waiting on the his doorstep with her overnight bag and hasn't been home since!! Now she smells!!
